About

Heather Holliger, English Instructor at Clark State College, has been teaching in higher education for the past eighteen years and has a background in the nonprofit sector and community arts organizations. She holds an MA in English Teaching and an MFA in Creative Writing. She specializes in composition and rhetoric, writing transfer, contemporary poetry, literary nonfiction, alternative assessment, and culturally responsive pedagogies. A passionate teacher, she is committed to helping her students grow as critical and creative thinkers and gain confidence in their writing voices.
